Summary
This meta-analysis explored the association between Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and risk of hip fracture. It was found that - in comparison with healthy persons of the same age etc. - patients with AD tend to be at higher risk of hip fracture and have lower hip bone mineral density (BMD).
