Risk Factors and Aetiology (NHS Evidence, Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Annual Evidence Update 2010)

Abstract

The 2010 Annual Evidence Update (AEU) , produced by NHS Evidence,  gives an overview of the most important evidence published during the period March 2009 – September 2010.

This section contains contains important new evidence from reviews of the risk factors, causation and aetiology of dementia. Reviews are classed into two groups:

  • Risk factors, causation / aetiology (21 refs).
  • The pathophysiology of dementia (8 refs).
