Non-Pharmacological Treatments (NHS Evidence, Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Annual Evidence Update 2008)


The 2008 Annual Evidence Update (AEU), produced by NHS Evidence,  gives an overview of the most important evidence published during the period Spring 2007 – Summer 2008.

This section of the AEU is aimed at clinicians in primary care or general medicine. It covers:

  • Psychological interventions.
  • Motor interventions.
  • Nutritional supplements.
  • Herbal medicine.
  • Acupuncture.
  • Aromatherapy.
  • Creative therapy.
