Alistair Burns, National Clinical Director for Dementia, has written a follow-up letter about the data collection exercise, now underway, concerning the establishment of memory services. This initiative is part of the National Audit of Dementia Services being undertaken by the NHS Information Centre on behalf of the Department of Health. The survey is intended to supplement the gap in national information on the provision of memory services. Assistance is requested in terms of local completion the short on-line questionnaire from the NHS Information Centre.
