Provision of Memory Services (National Audit of Dementia Services)


Alistair Burns, National Clinical Director for Dementia, has written a follow-up letter about the data collection exercise, now underway, concerning the establishment of memory services. This initiative is part of the National Audit of Dementia Services being undertaken by the NHS Information Centre on behalf of the Department of Health. For background information about why this is important, click here.

The survey is intended to supplement the gap in national information on the provision of memory services. Assistance is requested in terms of local completion the short on-line questionnaire from the NHS Information Centre. Guidance and further information on the survey is available from the NHS Information Centre web page “National Audit of Dementia: Establishment of Memory Services”.
