Fundraising Efforts Praised by Wolverhampton Mayor (24dash.com)

Summary

The Mayor, Councillor Bert Turner, commended Wolverhampton Homes, its partners and suppliers on Tuesday December 6th 2011 for their efforts in raising thousands of pounds for charity. Participants in this year’s Carver marathon events included staff from Wolverhampton Homes, Thomas Vale, Bullock, Frank Haslam Milan, Travis Perkins, Tony Davis, GDC Group, DMW and The Dodd Group.

The money raised has been donated to the Mayor’s Charities, Compton Hospice, The Alzheimer’s Society (Wolverhampton Branch) and the Acute Medical Ward for Dementia at New Cross Hospital.
