NHS Whistleblowers’ Helpline Launched (BBC News)

Summary

A free helpline for whistleblowers in the NHS and social services will be launched on New Year’s Day 2012. The Health Secretary Andrew Lansley wishes to ensure staff can raise concerns over standards without fear of reprisal.

The helpline is on 08000 724 725 and is provided by the Royal Mencap Society.
