Accountability and Scrutiny in the New Structures (BMA Guidance)

Summary

This discussion paper, produced jointly by the General Practitioners Committee (GPC) and the Centre for Public Scrutiny (CfPS), explores the concepts of accountability and scrutiny in the new NHSstructures. GPs and Local Medical Committees (LMCs) are encouraged to ensure that Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) operate openly and transparently.
