Health and Wellbeing Boards: Opportunities to Improve the Health and Well-Being of BAME Carers (Carers UK)

Summary

This document presents Carers UK’s work on Black Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) carer health and wellbeing, including contributions from an expert seminar hosted by Carers UK in December 2011. It explains the structure of Health and Wellbeing Boards and the evidence available about BAME health and wellbeing, before explaining how Health and Wellbeing Boards can improve health and wellbeing for BAME carers. Success criteria are suggested and recommendations offered.
