Johnson & Johnson Fined $1.1bn Over Risperdal: Subversion of Science? (BBC Health News / Drug Dangers)


The drugs giant Johnson & Johnson (J&J) has been ordered by a US judge to pay $1.1bn (£690m) for downplaying the risks involved in taking its anti-psychotic drug Risperdal (Risperidone). This is only the latest of fines the company has incurred recently across different American states.
