Hospital Discharge and BAME Carers (Carers UK)

Summary

Hospital discharge can present difficulties for carers; often particularly so for black, asian and minority ethnic (BAME) carers as it may be assumed they will care for their own and / or where communications with family members may be poor. This Carers UK briefing seeks to improve understanding and practice in supporting BAME carers at the point of hospital discharge.
