PM Endorses Work of the Dementia Friendly Communities Champion Group (Department of Health, Dementia)

Summary

Work is underway at the Dementia Friendly Communities Champion Group. The group is one of three champion groups set up as part of the dementia challenge to explore how to create dementia friendly communities, improve dementia research and improve health and care.

Prime Minister David Cameron met with the group in London this month. The group comprises industry leaders, representatives from towns and cities, and people with dementia and / or their carers. Readers are invited to contribute ideas on how to create dementia friendly communities on the dementia challenge website.
