Wolverhampton Mayor Bert Turner Raises Record £55,000 (Birmingham Mail)


Six charities share a record £55,171 raised by Wolverhampton Mayor Coun. Bert Turner during his term of office. The Dementia Ward at New Cross Hospital is to receive £29,171, and Compton Hospice will get £15,000.

The Wolverhampton branch of the Alzheimer’s Society also receives £8,000.
