Collaboration Project on Mental Health Discharge Summaries (NHS Connecting for Health)


The Department of Health Informatics Directorate (DHID) is working on improvements to electronic communication and more integrated care.

The Mental Health Discharge Summary project involved the DHID working with the Royal College of Psychiatrists to develop a standard discharge summary which is sent to general practitioners from mental health in-patient care. The collaboration website for this project shows the mental health discharge summary headings which have been agreed.
