Shared Decision-Making: NHS East Midlands Pathfinder Project (Picker Institute Europe)

Summary

This report investigates how to improve shared decision-making within local health services. Recommendations suggested include sharing successes, preparing for multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working, senior leadership support and (in the NHS East Midlands) operationalising the Midlands and East SHA’s “patient revolution” initiatives.
