Sustainable Funding for Adult Social Care (London Councils)


A funding gap of £907 million is forecast in the next five years in London. This document describes how councils are planning to narrow the funding gap for adult social care by working more closely with the NHS, improving procurement (category management) and finding new approaches to social care for older and disabled people. There are suggestions for the government to help councils to improve the planning, funding and delivery of adult social care.
