Brain Waves Newsletter: the Dementia Engagement and Empowerment Project (DEEP)

Summary

The June issue of the “Brain Waves” newsletter focused on the Dementia Engagement and Empowerment Project (DEEP). There is a new website dedicated to this project:

Issue No. 63 reports on the DEEP networking event, held in Exeter on June 6th 2013, which discussed – amongst other issues – “What do people need from professionals to support them in living well with dementia?”. Some illuminating answers to this question are featured in the section “What professionals need to think about” (page 3).
