Focus on Dementia (NIHR)

Summary

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) has created a website (http://www.crncc.nihr.ac.uk) to showcase examples of the clinical research in the UK geared towards helping people with dementia their families.

“This site provides a snapshot of the work of the National Institute for Health Research is doing in the area of dementia”.

This research is aimed at discovering better treatments for dementia sufferers, and improvements to the quality of life for people with the condition. The main body content of this site is accessed via two options:

  1. Dementia research case studies.
  2. Find out what studies the NIHR fund.
