The English Longitudinal Study of Ageing is a multi-disciplinary study men and women aged 50 years and over living in England. This Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) report presents analyses of the fifth wave of data collection, carried out in 2010-11. It discusses pension wealth and contribution dynamics; change in social detachment; and the psychological wellbeing, health and functioning of older people in England.
