The new Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection regime planned for care homes and domiciliary care in England may involve hidden camera surveillance and mystery-shopper exercises.
From next Autumn, care homes and domiciliary care services will receive Ofsted-style ratings of their performance; indicating whether they are judged to be outstanding,
good, requiring improvement or inadequate.
