NHS England Seeks Independent Chairs for NHS Continuing Healthcare Independent Review Panels (NHS England)

Summary

NHS England seeks people to chair independent review panels concerning individuals’ eligibility for NHS Continuing Healthcare (NHS CHC). These panels review decisions on funding eligibility and the processes used by CCGs in reaching their decisions. The closing date for applications is January 26th 2014.

“The Independent Review Panels work within the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS funded nursing care. Their key task is to review decisions on funding eligibility and/or the procedure followed by the clinical commissioning group, in reaching their decision. NHS England is seeking chairs who live in, or close to, one of the four NHS England regions of South, London, North, and Midlands and East”.
