People worried about their health, especially those over 60, should not just “soldier on”; they are advised to seek help quickly, according to NHS England‘s “The Earlier, The Better” campaign.
Greater use of self-care information sources, local pharmacy services and the NHS 111 Advice Line are encouraged. The aim is to reduce avoidable emergency hospital admissions and minimise unnecessary hospitalisations.

The EC has introduced a logo to help patients identify authorised online pharmacies providing authentic medicines. This logo will appear on the websites of online pharmacies operating legally in the EU; it links to the relevant national authority websites.
