Councils in England Under-Funding Home Care (BBC News / UKHCA)

Summary

The UK Homecare Association (UKHCA) has recommended that home care providers need to be paid a minimum of £15.19 per hour, in order to cover wages, training, administration and travel. By contrast, the BBC estimates that most councils in England pay less than this industry recommended minimum for personal home care.
