Dementia Friendly Housing Organisations (Orbit Charitable Trust / Housing LIN)

Summary

The Orbit Charitable Trust has produced a guide for smaller housing associations, and other housing providers, explaining how social landlords can improve their support for older people living with dementia. Guidance is provided on improving residents’ quality of life and maintaining their independence. Advice for organisations about how to become more “dementia friendly” is supplied, with examples of best practice from various housing providers.
