National Care Home Open Day (CQC)

Summary

The second National Care Home Open Day is to be held on Friday June 20th 2014, allowing people to visit local care homes. The idea is that allowing the general population to meet residents and learn about local care homes will promote stronger links between care homes and the community. This might help to reduce feelings of isolation on the part of care home residents and permit greater public scrutiny of the quality of care provided.
