Testing the RCP Future Hospitals Model: the Future Hospital Programme (BBC News / BMJ)

Summary

Four NHS trusts in England and Wales are to implement and evaluate the Royal College of Physicians (RCP)’s vision of the future hospital. Under the Future Hospitals Programme, hospital doctors work together with colleagues in primary care, to provide better – more integrated – care for patients.

The Future Hospital Programme will be based at the following hospitals: Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, Mid Yorkshire Hospitals, Royal Blackburn Hospital, and Worthing Hospital.
