Summary
This document presents the Government’s response to the Science and Technology Select Committee’s “After the Storm?” report on blood safety. It sets out the government’s commitment to evidence-based and cost effective ways to reduce risks of infection from blood transfusions, tissues and organ transplants, contaminated medical equipment and so on.
