A group of “young leaders in dementia” will take part in the First Global Ministerial Conference on Global Action Against Dementia, which is to be hosted by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Geneva on March 16th – 17th 2015. The purpose of this Emerging Leaders In Dementia group is to:
“discuss approaches to improve dementia care, cure, research and awareness, and develop creative and innovative ideas to support the ongoing work of the WDC”
Their recommendations for the future direction of the World Dementia Council (WDC) are, accordingly, grouped under the following broad headings.
