Dignity in Care: SCIE Videos on Caring With Dignity (SCIE)

Summary

The Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) has produced three new videos about dignity in care, making eight in total. There are said to be eight main factors which contribute to the provision of dignity with care.

  1. Choice and control.
  2. Communication.
  3. Eating and nutritional care.
  4. Pain management.
  5. Personal hygiene.
  6. Practical Assistance.
  7. Privacy.
  8. Social inclusion.
