Summary
A short conference abstract relating to the New Cross Hospital Dementia Project has been discovered, entirely fortuitously, over three years after the event held in Brussels. This brief piece communicates the results of an audit into the effectiveness of the specialised dementia unit for hospitalised dementia patients, conducted broadly following recommendations in the first National Audit of Dementia Care in General Hospitals UK (2011).
