Quick Guides on Role(s) of Care Sector in Transforming Urgent and Emergency Care Services in England (NHS England / Care England)

Summary

NHS England and partners (Care England, UKHCA and the UK Registered Nursing Home Association) have published a series of quick guides about how the care sector can work within local health and care systems. These guides provide examples of local solutions for improving working relationships between independent care services and the NHS. They cover a range of topics including collaborative care, support at home, assistive technology, plus admissions and discharges (transfers of care) between hospitals and care homes.

“The aim is a common one across the system to make sure people get the right care in the right place at the right time”.
