Care Home Ratings Map (CQC)

Summary

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) now has an online “Care home ratings map” tool. This provides a picture of services geographically. It is designed to assist the public, and service providers, to search for care homes either within a geographic location or by postcode, in order to compare CQC ratings and view recent inspection reports. Each care home is represented by a coloured dot:

Quick Visual Colour Codes:

  • Blue dot = Outstanding.
  • Green dot = Good.
  • Yellow dot = Requires improvement.
  • Red dot = Inadequate.

By clicking on each coloured dot it is possible to read more information and view the detailed inspection report.
