Researchers at Bournemouth University have announced the release of a workbook and training film, entitled “Eating and Drinking Well: Supporting People Living with Dementia”. These resources have been developed from the Understanding Nutrition and Dementia Study (funded by the Burdett Trust for Nursing).

“These training tools are designed to equip frontline nurses and care home staff with the skills needed to improve the delivery of nutrition and hydration for people living with dementia”.

A rigorous evaluation is planned into how these training tools can be implemented.
