UK’s Oldest Woman Dies (BBC News)


The UK’s oldest woman and former concert pianist, Gladys Hooper, aged 113, passed away at Highfield Nursing Home in Ryde (the Isle of Wight) today.

It is understood that the new oldest person in Britain is now Bessie Camm, aged 112, from Rotherham.
