Summary
NHS Digital’s report on the health and care of people with learning disabilities, based on information from over half of GP practices in England between 2014 and 2016, has identified continuing health inequalities in terms of differences in the treatment, health status, and health outcomes compared with the rest of the population.
Less than half of patients with learning disabilities received an annual health check. A wide range of other comparisons have been made.
