2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV): COVID-19 (BBC News / WHO / PHE / NHS England)

Summary

The new virus causing severe lung disease, which arose in the Chinese city of Wuhan, has been confirmed by the World Health Organization (WHO) to be a coronavirus. There were six (this is the seventh) types of coronavirus known to infect people. First draft of history materials (January to April 2020) follow.
